Over the Arctic Cricle

It's not north enough here in Uppsala so I travelled 1200 km up over the Arctic Circle to Abisko (with a gorgeous group of international students of course)

After 18 hours on the train we managed to get off at the wrong station so the Arctic challenge began immediately..

First night we happened to see the Aurora borealis. Unfortunately my buddies didn't want to wait hours to get the right shot and find the right spots and my outfit (jeans and skater shoes in -2°C, heavy wind and 0,5m powder) fell short for the conditions so this is what I could take in half an hour.

 Typical swedish

Camp fire on the lake. No worries, we had 1 m ice under our feet.

Abisko Skolan

Small town with busy heavy traffic. Trains are probably going to Narvik or even further.

Öresund

Well, it looks our trip is not as dangerous as I thought. Or swedes are calm drivers. Who knows..
I'm pretty tired these days but soo happy! Many dreams had came true. I think everybody has a list full with things to HAVE TO DO in his/her life.
I was always dreaming of having a car get my friends and travel through the country. This time I have my favourite german girls, a Renault Clio and Sweden. Driving while listening and singing our fav songs and search for mooses... Wunderbar!
First day we made a short stop in Jönköping. This was the first swedish city what really inspired me to take pictures.
Next dream what came true was visiting Ulricehamn! My favourite snowboarders hometown. I couldn't imagine before why he loves it so much. Now I know! The most beautiful city what I've ever visited.
We live in a small and really old house furnished in true swedish style! Amasing! Its spring now but at night still freezing so we had to make fire in the fireplace :)
Today we went to Malmö for a big walk and than drove bit further to the city just to have a look to the Öresund bridge!
I saw many pics on Lollis blog (Lorenz Holder Photography) and I've never thought I'll have chance to take pics too. I could have spent the whole day there.. The water was 3 m from us and everything was soo calm. I would have walked under the bridge and back. I find it so amasing. Maybe just because of Lolli and Isenseven or because its so huge and misterious as disappears in the distance...
